8th Annual Integrate Arts Festival Planning Home Base: Cenote Restaurant & Lounge
The 2014 planning committee has been formed and we're rocking out decisions left and right thanks to one fabulously cool local spot: Cenote Restaurant & Lounge. Located at 768 Yates Street downtown Victoria, BC, Cenote is a place for food, for music, for art, and for people of all walks of life. An eclectic gathering space, this inviting lounge warms you with a welcome, tasty cocktails and a varied menu of locally sourced culinary treasures.
Some of the edible creations that have made appearances (and repeat appearances) at our planning meetings include: the Cenote Mac & Cheese - a comforting classic, the Taco "Salad" - complete with discussion haulting jalapanoes, and The Canadian Suffed Dog - this mama jamma demands further explanation. This isn't your standard hot dog *on* a bun ... this little miracle comes in one neat not-so-little package that *is* a Portofino baguette. Let's just say that Cenote knows how to take a classic and make it even more AHmazingly delicious. Their menu is chock-a-block full of must try's and our planning committee is beyond pleased to have many future meetings ahead!
If cocktails are up your alley, Cenote doesn't disappoint with signatures like the "Mexican Fascist" and the "Ginger Binger" among others with equally awesome names. Just looking for a regular beer or a nice glass of wine? They've got plenty of those too.
And last but not least ... the music. Ahhh, the music. It's so great to find a spot that has great food, great people and great live music. Visit their website for a full agenda of upcoming events.
Cenote Restaurant & Lounge is truly an inspiring space for this group of art-lovers to plan the 2014 Integrate Arts Festival and we are very grateful to be so welcomed. Many thanks to Cenote and see you very soon!
