We are going to let you in on some secrets with this blog post: The 8th Annual Integrate Arts Festival is going to be fabulous - wait a sec, that's no secret!... of course it will be fabulous! And what better to kick off a fabulous festival than a fabulous opening reception?! Our planning committee has been hard at work planning some seriously awesome party details from pop-up galleries, to live music, local food and drinks and improv from 2frail4sports! This year's opening reception will be one to remember, so please join the party and help us make some memories!

From 6:00-7:30 at Integrate HQ (1501 Douglas Street), enjoy free admission to the opening reception before embarking on our hop on/hop off big blue bus tour for the Friday evening en-masse art crawl.

At the reception, we are thrilled to offer refreshments from Phillips Brewery beer (BIG thank you to Phillips for sponsoring this event!!) which will be served deliciously cool thanks to the Strathcona Hotel for loaning us their giant fridges! Authentic Belgian miniature waffles and Neopolitan pizza will also be served, thanks to our generous food sponsors at Wannawafel and Famoso Pizzeria. If tacos are up your alley, you can make a visit to the Tacofino truck which will be parked outside the party for the evening.

Get your groove on with musical act Lola Parks or simply enjoy the tunes while you take in our pop-up art exhibition specially curated for the festival HQ. Our artist line-up this year includes two-dimensional work, sculpture and video installation.

The 8th Annual Integrate Arts Festival is open to all ages, but those wishing to enjoy alcoholic refreshments will need to present ID to our bartenders. While the party is FREE admission, we will be gratefully accepting donations. If you would like to contribute, just ask one of our volunteers how you can donate and help support future programming from the Integrate Art Society.
